Boys Will Be Boys: Male Socialization & The Family Planning Clinic
This workshop will be both academic and practical with a focus on behavior change and developing approaches and counseling in difficult situations.
This training is not currently being offered. Please contact CFHC if you are interested in further information.
Reaching and working with boys and young men seem like such good ideas…but when individuals and programs try to reach out to young men, resistance and lack of interest seem to be the primary responses.
Through lecture, discussion, film and group activities, this highly interactive workshop will give participants the opportunity to identify some of the reasons for this resistance.
