The Information & Education division of the California Family Health Council specializes in developing conferences and meetings for health care providers, public health professionals, and health care advocates. From needs assessment to evaluation, I&E's conferences and meetings will meet the diverse needs of your agency and your participants.

We can find out what people really need and want.
- Put together qualitative and quantitative measures including surveys, focus groups and key informant interviews.
- Provide a comprehensive needs assessment to your agency and participants to find out what is really needed.
We can plan and develop your meeting or conference.
- Develop and manage your conference or meeting budget.
- Formulate your goals and objectives.
- Plan your agenda.
- Develop the content and format of your meeting.
- Identify and recruit speakers.
- Coordinate teleconferences for panelists or co-presenters.
- Collect and produce speaker handouts and create your conference syllabus.
- Recruit exhibitors and identify sponsors for your conference.
We can choose the site and negotiate contracts.
- Research, identify and negotiate the contract for the facility or site.
- Choose, negotiate and supervise audiovisual logistics.
- Negotiate food and beverage prices.
- Inspect the site.
- Meet with the site staff prior to the meeting to review arrangements and ensure that everything is set and ready to go.

- Make sure your health educators, nurses, physicians, physician assistants and nurse midwives get approval for continuing education credits.
- Keep conference speakers and sessions on time.
- Manage the recording of the event & tape sales.
- Reconcile invoices and ensure timely payment.
